JoAnn Cox

JoAnn Hockensmith Cox, 81, widow of David Cox, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020. A native of Frankfort, she was born on November 9, 1938 to the late Ira and Margaret Hockensmith. She retired from Home Health Nursing and was a member of Camp Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Debra (Larry) Williams, Versailles, Karen (Lynn) Power, Lawrenceburg, Rickey (Donna) Conley, Lexington, Sharon Strange, Lexington, and Jenny (Kenny) Trent, Lawrenceburg; her brothers, Bobby Hockensmith, Frankfort, and Roy Hockensmith, Frankfort; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Conley.
The family requests services be private, out of respect for the health of others due to the corona virus.
