William Mackey

William Allen Mackey, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020. A native of Frankfort, he was born on March 22, 1951 to the late George Allen and Eloise Whitton Mackey. He was the Owner of Mackey’s Inc. and was a Veteran of the US Army having served in Operation Desert Storm. William was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his “honey”, Martha Wise, Frankfort; his daughters, Jenifer (Travis) Taylor, and Heather (Danielle) Mackey, both of Frankfort; his siblings, Nancy (Doug) Wehr, Frankfort, Scotty (Vicki) Mackey, Frankfort, and Susan Bryant, Pleasureville; his grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob Taylor, Destiny, Chelsey, Caleb, Treasure, Derek, and Hallie Manley, McKenzie Blankenship, Isaiah Lathrem, Caroline Carter, and Logan and Austin Ernspiker; as well as his great granddaughter, Zamari Morris.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Sam Gaines will be officiating. Serving as honorary casketbearers are the people who gave him a chance and the employees who made him the man he was today. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
